Documents
  • You can download all of our evaluation forms for rooms and projects.

  • Read our complaints procedure and policies.

  • Learn what our targets are in this years APA (Annual Performance Agreement).

APA
The APA is our Annual Performance Agreement which we have agreed with BECTA. It outlines national and local priorities for the year, our objectives and how we propose to meet our targets. The APA is drawn up by the CLC management in consultation with the Local Authority and all partner schools and organisations. The Agreement runs from April to April and consultation on its content begins in January. Submissions of content for the document can be made by contacting the CLC Manager or writing to the Management Board. Read our APA for 2009/2010.

Management

The Widnes CLC has an internal manager; Mr. Ray Weaver. He deals with the day-to-day running of the City Learning Centre and manages our relationship with BECTA. He is also a member of the Management Board.

The Management Board is made up of representatives of all partner organisations; the secondary and primary schools, the local authority and lay representatives. They meet twice a term and are responsible for directing the course of the CLC via the APA and for overseeing the financial management of the centre.

Read the Managers Annual Report 2008-09 for details of projects we have completed, awards we have won, our strategy and more.

Evaluation

We would like to hear your views on any aspect of our centre; whether it be a course or project you have attended or a facility you have used. We are currently undertaking an extensive evaluation of our new 'Production Suite' so that we can feed the results into the Building Schools for the Future programme (BSF). If you have used the new room in any capacity; as a teacher or learner or by attending a training event, we would greatly appreciate your comments on the appropriate form.
